Are full of spunk!
Love to watch Dora, Diego and Tickety Toc
Adore your brother (but you guys still have your moments)
Love to play blocks, and with your babies
Look forward to your music class every week
Are the best singer I have ever listened to!! (I will need to post a video)
Sleep all night in your big girl bed, and take a nap MOST days.
Have no interest in the potty
Have a big fat temper and you know what you want
But above all, you are sweet and cuddly and funny and loving and I am SO blessed to be your mommy! Here's to two being your best year yet. I love you baby girl!

Sesame Live!

This weekend we went to Sesame Street Live- Elmo's Super Heroes in Wilkes-Barre. My mom got the kiddos the tickets for Christmas, and they were front row on the side! They got hugs from Ernie, Cookie, Zoe and more. It was such an awesome experience. We stayed overnight up there, and went swimming in the hotel pool. It was a lot of fun!

Worn out from all the fun...

Update on Life...

A good friend of mine asked me about creating a blog, and it reminded me, that I REALLY should pay more attention to mine. I do, after all, want my children to be able to look back on this someday. (And, by the way time is flying, someday will be tomorrow..really.)

So, what has happened since July 2012, when I started to slack off on blogging like a total winner...

August- We went to this awesome hotel in Lancaster, with an outdoor water park for the kids, it was a total blast, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area. Carter even had Elias come down for the night!

September- Carter started Pre-K (HOLY crap, where did the time go?? More on this topic later!) Matt and I traveled to the Windy City. I had a work conference there, so we extended it a day longer to explore. One thing is for sure- I LOVE Chicago!! We also had my sister's baby shower, which was a huge success. They packed their car tight for the ride back to VA, and they still didn't get it all in!

October- We took a trip to the pumpkin patch with Carter's preschool class. Sadie went along, too. It was a lot of fun! We also celebrated Halloween, Sadie was a PRO at Trick or Treating this year!

November- November was a pretty quiet month. We did all get a pretty nasty cold (YUCK!), and poor Carter's allergies were horrible. The Well opened in Milton, and we got a chance to check that out. It's AWESOME! I highly recommend it to you all mommies with little ones. Great indoor playground for the winter months, and the coffee is awesome. It's a win-win!

December-Sadie turned TWO!! SO crazy. I'll do a separate post for her birthday, and party pics. She's such a sweet little girl! We also celebrated Christmas, which was a ton of fun this year. The kids were so into it! AND- I became an aunt, and the kiddos got their first cousin to love on! I was able to make it to Virginia to see the birth, which was an unforgettable moment. My sister was amazing, and totally kicked labor's ass! Sweet Julian Micheal was born on 12/30/12, weighing 8lbs, and 19.5 inches long. We LOVE him to pieces, he's such a sweet little baby!

January-We took a mini-vacation down to Virginia to see my sister, brother-in-law, and Julian. It was a lot of fun, and the weather was great! We got to go to the zoo, and Carter even got to check out a comic book store down there with Daddy! (Those of you who know Carter, know he is obsessed with comic books.) My sister came home with us, because Eric had to go to Maryland for training. It was only supposed to be two weeks, but she ended up being in PA until the end of February. HEY, I won't complain! =) We also had Carter's parent-teacher conference, and they confirmed what I was already feeling...Carter is ready for kindergarten. KINDERGARTEN??? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?? Wasn't he just born yesterday? Seriously people, cherish every second. This quote rings to true to me: "In motherhood, the days may be long, but the years are short." SO SO short. I'm in denial I think. Since Carter had a summer birthday, I always thought we would be sending him to K at 6, but he's ready, he's more than ready. Sigh. Time for my baby to start school. And another big moment- Sadie got a big girl bed! She transitioned SO well, and she loves it. My kiddos are growing up!

February- Matt and I took Carter to Scooby Doo Live in Williamsport. My mom stayed with Sadie, I wasn't sure if it would hold her attention. I'm glad we chose not to take her, there were some pretty spooky moments. Carter loved the show, and it was so great spending some time with him alone. Now, I just need to find some time to take Sadie on a date!

March (thus far)- Carter is READING. Yup, he's reading. I thought it was a fluke at first, or maybe he memorized some books. But, I got him a new book, and I pulled random books off his bookshelf collection of over 100 books. He read them. Level one books, he can blow right through. Level two books take some time, but he can get through them with my help. Totally blows my mind. This kid isn't even FIVE yet. I'm so PROUD, and so in love with that sweet little boy. He's so sincere, loving, caring, and smart...and I just can't say enough about him. It's just overwhelming. Go Carter!

Of course, these past months were also times of crazy change. I won't blog about them, but if you know me, you know. I'm so grateful for wonderful family and friends. AND- I'm ready to move forward. Here is to making new memories, and blogging more than once every six months. I WILL do this.

That brings us to present. Exciting stuff happening this weekend, I promise to update soon!

And also, please keep good friends of mine, and their family in your thoughts and prayers.  They delivered their baby girl silently at 37 weeks on 3/7/13, and are in need of prayers and comfort. They are both wonderful people, and I know they will get through this, with time..but until that time comes, please pray.
